Nature of Business: Magnet Wire Manufacturing
Responsibilities:
- Inspecting equipment and conducting routine maintenance, plan for PM and maintain the critical spare inventory.
- Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, servicing and replacing old or faulty equipment.
- Removing old equipment and installing new machines.
- Monitor MTBF and MTTF for equipment, and plan for improvement activities.
- Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
- Manage cost and time constraints.
- Perform risk assessments.
- Provide control documentation and operating instructions.
- Comply with the Health, Safety, 5S and Environmental Policies, establishing safety procedures and protocols that take the workers.• Diagnosing problems in the production line and providing recommendations and training.
- Keeping abreast of advancements in engineering and production and sharing knowledge with co-workers.
- Identifying, documenting, and reporting unsafe practices.
- Drawing up production schedules and budgets for projects.
- Scheduling meetings with relevant departments for problem and project update.
- Analyzing all facts of downtime and making recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure product and process quality meets specifications required.
- Oversee installation of machinery and equipment
- Organize plant start-up and shut-down schedules to ensure minimum loss of production time
- Plan and organize maintenance, respond to breakdown, report down time and possible trends
- Undertake special projects as required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities
- Manage the key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
