Nature of Business: Magnet Wire Manufacturing
  • Inspecting equipment and conducting routine maintenance, plan for PM and maintain the critical spare inventory.
  • Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, servicing and replacing old or faulty equipment.
  • Removing old equipment and installing new machines.
  • Monitor MTBF and MTTF for equipment, and plan for improvement activities.
  • Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
  • Manage cost and time constraints.
  • Perform risk assessments.
  • Provide control documentation and operating instructions.
  • Comply with the Health, Safety, 5S and Environmental Policies, establishing safety procedures and protocols that take the workers.• Diagnosing problems in the production line and providing recommendations and training.
  • Keeping abreast of advancements in engineering and production and sharing knowledge with co-workers.
  • Identifying, documenting, and reporting unsafe practices.
  • Drawing up production schedules and budgets for projects.
  • Scheduling meetings with relevant departments for problem and project update.
  • Analyzing all facts of downtime and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure product and process quality meets specifications required.
  • Oversee installation of machinery and equipment
  • Organize plant start-up and shut-down schedules to ensure minimum loss of production time
  • Plan and organize maintenance, respond to breakdown, report down time and possible trends
  • Undertake special projects as required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities
  • Manage the key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, prefer Electrical/ Electronic)
  • Proven experience in engineering related field.
  • Strong leadership abilities
  • Able to make decisions under pressure.
  • Advance knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, & heating System
  • Advance knowledge for PLC, inverter and etc
  • Ability to read system schematics
  • Great attention to details and organization skills
  • Superb analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills,
  • Proficiency in MS office
  • Engages interest and participation of others and have collaborative approach to working together
  • Kaizen/ A3 (continuous improvement and problem solving) process improvement
  • Prefer ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and IFTA 16949 knowledge.
  • Ability to work in diverse and dynamic environment.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of safety and equipment procedures.
