Responsibilities:
  • To execute sourcing strategy and search for new prospective suppliers to secure localization activities.
  • To lead a cross functional team to execute the strategy of localization activities.
  • To collaborate and communicate effectively with supplier performance analyst while being able ot escalate issue that do not involve transactional resolution (process change, long term issues)
  • To come out with ideas pro-actively on how to further reduce cost without jeopardizing quality, cost, and delivery (QCD)
  • Analysis on sourcing process and supplier’s cost breakdown.
  • To manage and control long lead time items and purchasing process when necessary.
  • To handle new supplier registration process and compliance requirements.
  • To detect and analyze any abnormalities, shortages occur to support current production orders.
  • To perform any duty duly assigned by the superior when required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in business related.
  • 4 year working experience is an added advantage.
  • Able to speak in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Japanese.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Application (Word, Excel etc)
  • Possess good communication and strong negotiation skill.
  • Possess self-discipline, time management, and organize.
  • Able to work as team and under pressure with tight schedule.
  • Commit to good business ethics, honest and responsible.
    • Languages Required:
    English, Bahasa Malaysia, Japanese
    Salary range:
    RM4,000 – 5,000 (Negotiable subject to experience) (Good company profit)
