Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes, machinery, and equipment in accordance with established manufacturing procedures, production schedules, and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement new manufacturing technologies and techniques to improve production efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturing processes and equipment are operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing equipment issues to minimize production downtime and improve equipment reliability.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address equipment failures and manufacturing process issues.
  • Perform design reviews and provide feedback to ensure that designs meet manufacturing requirements, including safety, ergonomics, and ease of manufacturing.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including engineering drawings, bills of materials, and work instructions.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure manufacturing processes and equipment are up-to-date and in compliance with industry standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Mechatronic Engineering/ or Electrical Engineering
  • 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong technical expertise in mechanical/mechatronic/ or electrical engineering
  • Demonstrated ability to design and develop manufacturing processes, machinery, and equipment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with CAD software and other engineering tools
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and technologies
  • Knowledge of quality standards, including ISO 9001
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles is advantage.

    Salary range:
    RM3000 – RM5000 (Subject to experience)
